For those of you with superior brain function it might come as no surprise that I have not updated this LIVE! space for...a while. The reasons for this are the usual: school, life, no time. When the fabulous establishment 'The Upper Crust' first graced the campus with it's underpriced fine dining, I went to enjoy a quality sub at competative prices.. Unfortunately, i don't like tomato's or cucumber's. I asked them if I could get a sub without cucumber or tomatos.

 

Now this didn't happen at 5pm, near closing time, this happened at 9:30am, and they were still making subs for the day.

She said: "the subs are pre-made, we can't change them"

I said: "I can see through the glass wall they are making subs, could you ask them to leave the cucumber and tomato's off of the next one?"

reply: "No, the subs are pre-made"

I said: "Look, you can leave them off, charge me the full amount, and sell them to someone else. You will be making money for your boss"

I think she gave me some shit about how the sandwiches are made in Mount Doom, and only there can they be unmade...

I ended up having to take the tomatos and cucumbers off...
